Take on the iconic National Three Peaks Challenge. Conquer the highest mountains Scotland, England and Wales has to offer in 24 hours! Participate solo, in a pair or as a group everyone is welcome. You will hike between 23 and 25 mile depending on the route we choose and ascend just over 10,000ft!! It is challenging and not to be taken lightly but can be completed by anyone with a reasonable level of fitness and a desire to succeed. Our qualified mountain leader guides will have the final say on your participation on each mountain.
What you need to know?
Included in your challenge is pick up from Glasgow train station if required and transport to our overnight accommodation where we have 5 rooms booked and will be shared on a same sex basis, unless you are a group and comfortable sharing. Dinner is not included and is down to you to sort out. We will have an event brief and check kit etc. Saturday morning we will have an early start with breakfast included then travel a short distance to Ben Nevis to start the Challenge after we have descended Ben Nevis we will board the bus and make our way to Scafell Pike England’s highest Peak and then to Wales to Mt Snowdon. To do this we must stick to a decent pace and schedule. This is where the guides expertise is needed to asses all participants health and fitness. on the bus comfort breaks and restocking of supplies will be kept to a minimum. Once the Challenge is complete there will goody bags for all. The bus will be available for drop off at Chester train station required.
We will use a ratio of 1 guide to 10 participants as a minimum and may have mountain leader trainees helping so they can gain experience.
